Battle of Alberta in Cochrane!
From Jan. 30 – Feb. 1, Rage hosted 3 Battle of Alberta games in the NRL.
Friday night started with a fast-paced game vs the Calgary RATH. It was a tight, low-scoring affair with Rage prevailing in the end with a 3-2 win.
Saturday was a matchup against Edmonton Rush. Rage took an early lead in this game, and continued strong throughout the night in earning a 7-3 victory.
On Sunday, it was a late-morning tilt against the undefeated Edmonton WAM! WAM! showed why they have yet to lose this season, as they came out strong and defeated Rage 11-6.
Overall it was a great weekend of ringette in Cochrane. Thank you to all of our fans who came out and cheered us on, as Rage earned 6 points in the standings with 2 wins! Our final home game of the season is coming up on Feb. 21st against the Edmonton Rush.
Rage’s First Ever Home Games!
On Dec. 13th & 14th, Rage hosted its first ever Home Games! We played against the Edmonton Rush, Manitoba Herd, and BC Thunder as part of our Home Hub. Thank you to all of our fans in Cochrane for making it a huge success! It was fantastic to play in front of big, enthusiastic crowds all weekend.
Can’t wait for the next set of home games at the end of January.
First Shootout Win!
On Nov. 30th, Rage captured its first ever shootout win in a thrilling 5-4 victory over the BC Thunder. Tessa Galandy scored the winning goal in the shootout, while Paige Roy stopped 3 out of 4 shots she faced to secure the win.
Community Engagement
The Rocky Mountain Rage is proud to be part of the communities in Southern Alberta where we play and train. Look for Rage players & coaches volunteering at various events in Cochrane, Calgary, and the surrounding area.

Feb 21– Rage takes on the Edmonton Rush.
Mar 7/8 – Rage will be playing at an All-Alberta mini-hub in Edmonton, AB.
Mar 14/15 – Rage will be playing at the NRL hub in Spruce Grove, AB.
Mar 30 – Apr 4 – The Canadian Ringette Championships in Ottawa, ON. All 14 NRL teams will be at this event to see who will be crowned the NRL Champion for the 2025/26 season!

Mar 21 – Pub Night Fundraiser! Rage players and coaches will be at the Canadian Brewhouse in Cochrane for a fun evening of food, drinks, and games. Door prizes to be won, as well as an online silent auction. Contact us using the link at the top of this page for details and to get your tickets!
